About Maureen

Maureen McElroy, LGMFT, Bethesda therapist

Maureen is a warm, compassionate listener whose skills will help you grow and connect with yourself and with others. She will help you bring greater satisfaction with your life and with your relationships.

Maureen sees herself as a guide for your journey. If you know your destination, she will help get you there. If you don’t know what your destination is that’s OK, too. She can help you sort that out, as well.

Maureen has a wide variety of skills applicable to working with an array of clients. Her background as a Certified Parent Educator with PEP makes her uniquely qualified to work with parents of children of all ages, including those whose children have left them with an “empty nest.” Her background in life-span psychology informs her work with aging adults and also with adults dealing with aging parents. She also has a deep interest in supporting those dealing with loss and bereavement. Contact her today.
